Spent a lot of time in ME, studied koran and Islam and can say most have no idea. People tend to project their values in others and that is a dangerous position
One example that had an impact on me
A husband asked his imam if his recently deceased wife was going to heaven, she was a good mother, wife…. And the imam said I don’t know
Basically except for dying as a martyr there is no guarantee of going to heaven like there is in Christianity.

Not trying to play an expert because I am not one, but isn’t the Catholic position that except those who have been formally canonized we can’t really be sure who is and who isn’t in Heaven because we can’t see into people’s souls?
