“Political strategist Andrey Ilnytsky, who is considered an ideologist of former Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was fired from the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian media outlets RBC and Meduza reported on Aug. 16.
Ilnytsky was also one of the creators of the symbol of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine – the letter Z.
The dismissal was reported in a story by the TASS propaganda agency, where Ilnytsky was called a “military expert, former adviser to the Russian defense minister.” The exact date of his discharge was not specified.”
