Simultaneous battles were fought at the entrance to Korenevo, and attempts were also made to occupy Olgovka with Kremyany.

For part of the Ukrainian troops advancing in this sector, it is necessary to both pin down the forces of the Russian Armed Forces in battle and break through to the Rylsk-Lgov highway in order to expand the scale of the operational crisis of the Russian Armed Forces and stretch the strength of the Russian troops.

At the same time, Ukrainian formations have already begun digging in at the achieved boundaries, introducing a second echelon. The capture of Sudzhi has become an encouraging factor for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which they are now trying to overcome losses and demonstrate that the game is worth the candle.

The biggest problem in organizing defense in the Kursk tactical direction still remains the fragmentation of units and the lack of the required number of forces, which are now supposedly being withdrawn from other directions. At the same time, Russian information resources, which race to write the names of brigades and divisions that are about to arrive ( but still don’t come ), add chaos to the information space.

Pokrovsk direction: expansion of the control zone in Lisichny and liberation of Sergeevka

Despite the difficult situation in the Kursk direction, the Center group of troops continues the successful liberation of the Donetsk People's Republic in the direction of Mirnograd and Pokrovsk.

In the Timofeevka area, Russian troops moved the front line to the west, knocking out the enemy from Lisichny.

In Ivanovka, clashes are taking place on the northwestern outskirts of the village, and according to some reports, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have completely retreated from the village.

To the south, units of the “Center” group of troops liberated Sergeevka: this fact is confirmed by recorded video materials.

It also became known about the capture of the scarce American-made M88A2 Hercules ARV [ tank recovery vehicle ], which was first encountered in the Pokrovsky direction. Judging by the photographs that appeared on the Internet, it received almost no damage and will probably be delivered to the Russian rear.

Information is also coming from Zhelannoye about the advancement of fighters of the Russian Armed Forces within the boundaries of the settlement and consolidation on the territory of an agricultural enterprise in the east of the village. According to preliminary data, Zhelannye has completely come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces and the area is currently being cleared.

In addition, fighting is taking place on the approaches to Kamyshevka and Novozhelanny, the capture of which will allow encircling the enemy in a “pocket” on the opposite bank of the Volchya River in the area of the villages of Mezhevoye and Skuchnoye if the Ukrainian formations do not leave their positions.

Information on the situation in the border region following a working meeting via teleconference between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Acting Governor of the Kursk Region Alexei Smirnov

The number of free beds in hospitals in the Kursk region, with the support of the Ministry of Health, has been increased to 1800, medical issues have been resolved.

According to Smirnov, people will be transported by both buses and railway transport. Ukrainian formations are firing at civilian cars and ambulances that are transporting wounded citizens from dangerous areas.

All gas stations will be equipped with electronic warfare equipment and armor protection in the near future. The ONF, United Russia and business representatives provide the Kursk region with humanitarian aid and electronic warfare equipment, the acting governor said.

Residents of the region who left dangerous areas will receive a one-time payment of 10,000 rubles, Putin said. He also called on the acting governor to work directly with people and reach every family when providing assistance to residents of the region.
