This is at least a day old.

What I have not seen is a discussion of the impact of this attack.

My guess is that this com center downloads and disseminates satellite images of Ukrainian airfields.

They could locate the F-16s parking locations and target them with Iskanders and Kinzhals.

Russia has 3 more space tracking and communication centers, so they would eventually be able to download the pictures.

My hope is that every time a ruzzian satellite passes over Ukraine all high value assets are moved.

Russian NIP-16 s site is used primarily for deep space missions - Moon & Mars - its mission may have changed, but very unlikely. Wrong antennas bands (32cm) for DLing photo reconnaissance.
