(Russian VAT change) “ and a decrease in the annual revenue threshold for businesses that must pay VAT from 60 million rubles (about $714 thousand) to 10 million rubles (about $119 thousand).”

Those small businesses will be enduring a crushing VAT increase - from zero to 22%. They are likely going to pass that on to customers, who are sure to notice a sudden new 22% surcharge.

Ouchie!

Because Putin. More pain on the way.

That is a new twist to the VAT increase from a not so simple 2% increase to a 22% increase on many businesses

As to the mentioned in another post “reduction in military spending”, if that does occur it will simply be smoke and mirrors accounting. IE, decreased military spending, but increase “infrastructure “ spending which will actually be spending on military projects.

This downward spiral was created by dear leader

It takes a lot to awaken the Russian people to their govts lies, but it has happened in the past 🤔
