That 809/day avg is skewed by the past, when Russian firepower was greater, and their casualty rate was lower. The trend on their casualty rate keeps climbing. Even 1,200/day might be a conservative estimate going forward. They can likely make up the shortfall with voluntary recruits paid big bonuses, but that continues to get harder for them as well.
