“old age”
I read your comments every day.
I see someone still quite sharp and witty.
Keep it up!
Last week, the FAS reported that the regional offices of the antimonopoly agency will work on price agreements with producers and sellers. This could lead to a reduction or fixation of prices on socially significant products, including butter, but such a measure is temporary and is used only in emergency cases. In turn, the state has the right to freeze prices on socially significant products for three months if they increase by 10% in 60 days.

We know what that leads to: Idi Amin ordered prices in Uganda not to move and farmers stopped producing food for the shops.

further info and thoughts on Ukraine’s attack on Russian alcohol production.
The link below shows fire destruction of bombed sites. More than 200 comments. After that (perhaps not immediately as I dozed off) was a long discussion on the Ukraine situation with several participants.

The 1/2 hour video found on my cell phone spends the first 15 minutes discussing the alcohol factor in Russian troop behavior and the actions of commanders in relation to that. It was pointed out that alcohol was needed to blunt troop fear so officers could force them to go into their meat waves. Will lack of alcohol result in more mutinies by troops? In the first half of this video there was no mention of the importance of alcohol for antifreeze, and use of war machines in winter. Hopefully it will create big problems, as it is very cold riding motorcycles and bicycles in winter.
It was reported Russia met its potato production quota for this year, so it is likely adequate homebrew will be possible for some. If populations of Moscow and St. Petersburg are deprived of their alcohol fixes, how will this impact support for Putin’s war?
The alcohol situation brings to mind the effect of Russia’s alcohol culture on their visiting Nork troops. Will they be willing to follow stupid orders without the benefit of alcoholic numbness? How will alcohol affect their behavior? Is alcohol even any part of Nork life for the masses? Will Nork troops receive health giving KimChe and rice which I imagine has been a main part of their diet in N Korea? Do they even eat potatoes there? If not fed KimChe will this negatively affect their health? When serving in the Korean War my husband said every house had a barrel of KimChe fermenting outside. He learned to eat it so if taken as prisoner of war, he could escape and eat his way back to friendly lines. This whole Nork experience should be quite interesting to watch.
Ukrainians are more than a little fond of vodka, too. So they’ll have to bring their own supply along. Might be enough motivation for Russian meat waves if their CO just shouts, “Those bastards destroyed our vodka! But they have plenty of their own! Let’s take it from them! FORWAAAARD!” But the problem with starting auto motors in the cold of winter had not occurred to me.
With recent months averaging around 1400 casualties a day and recent weeks even more, the Russians is likely to celebrate 750,000 by New Years Day. At a 1400 daily average, that is around 42,000 per month. Russian recruitment is reported as around 30,000 per month. They are going to need a lot of Norks at this rate. It will be fascinating to see how that all works out. Top RUssians have not liked Muslim immigrants. How will Russians react to Athiest imports? How will Norks react to the Orthodox Church if they are required to attend services along with Russian troops? The recent use of religious relics and ashes by some military leaders comes out mind. Zelenskyy is really good at throwing ashes into the gear box of Russian plans.
More dead Norks in Kursk today.

A wall of text, if it were even remotely readable - but them you must have read it, since you deemed it important enough to post. Didn’t you?
You get funnier every day. Are you a practicing comedian?
Norks have bounties on their heads.
Maybe RuZZia disappears.
Ashame FR Putin trolls don’t have the same.
The United States will not impose new limits on Ukraine's use of American weapons if North Korea enters the fight, the Pentagon said on Monday, as NATO said North Korean military units had been deployed to Russia's Kursk region.

What’s going on with the mortgage? The Central Bank made an honest admission, and the government urges not to panic and earn more
Lately there have been a lot of rumors that problems with mortgages in Russia will seriously worsen, even to the point of their complete disappearance. As a result, purchasing housing will become unaffordable for most of the country’s residents. We found out what was really going on.
“Mortgages, of course, will not disappear anywhere. But, based on the situation in the country, which was reflected, in particular, in an increase in the key rate , mortgage programs will be inaccessible to the majority of the population. This is the reality,” a senior source at the Central Bank told us.
In his opinion, such problems will last at least until the end of 2025. “And then everything depends on many factors - from sanctions to how the military action will proceed and whether there will be a new wave of mobilization in the country,” he believes.
At the same time, a government source urged citizens not to panic because of the current situation. “Yes, there are problems with the mortgage. But this is not a tragedy. Our people at the front die every day. This is a tragedy. And the mortgage is nonsense!”, he said emotionally.
“Besides, the mortgage hasn’t disappeared. Earn more and you will have everything!”, our interlocutor added.
