Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine (2 year anniversary)

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“The US has signaled to Saudi Arabia it’s ready to help defend the kingdom against an attack by Iran or its proxies, as Gulf states grow increasingly wary of being embroiled in the standoff between the Islamic Republic and Israel, people familiar with the matter said.

The tacit offer, made in the past few weeks, has given Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and other Gulf Arab leaders some comfort as they await Israel’s response to Iran’s Oct. 1 missile attack, said the people, asking not to be identified discussing sensitive issues. Gulf states fear any escalation of the conflict could severely hurt their economic and security interests, the people said.”

Sun is up over there now, so the attacks are probably over, and damage assessment should be coming out when we wake up tomorrow (our time).

I saw reports of three waves, lot’s of strikes in Tehran, but also Syria and Iraq. No oil facilities or nuke sites, but did include drone and missile production facilities.

Tehran Times says:

“All missiles are successfully intercepted”

I wonder if there were any falling debris?

“ I wonder if there were any falling debris?”

Some obviously heavy explosive falling debris in videos on the web. I doubt they intercepted much, if any, of what was fired at them.

I was at an Iran thread where at around comment #70, it was reported Israel had begun a much stronger second wave attack on Iran. Then there was the report the major nuclear plant in Sarjah(?) was on fire and the link below was listed there. Also, the fire may have started before the Israel air attack began. In a report by Al Jazeera I linked elsewhere, they suggested the Iran authorities were downplaying the severity of the attack results.

I have linked some of you at these Iran sites if you want to find other interesting links. Time for bed soon.

In other words, Russia through Iran and the Houthis is partial responsible for the US increase in food and other prices over the past 3 years. Something like 30 to 40 % of international shipping goes through the Suez Canal. In addition another 15% goes through the Panama Canal, which has had to reduce that figure a fair bit because of severe drought and insufficient water supply to fill the locks as frequently.

Of course the Covid epidemic did not help, nor the bird flu worldwide epidemic which resulted in millions and even a billion or more chickens, ducks, and geese being killed here, and many more worldwide. Both US and Russia have suffered high egg prices as chickens were killed, also high chicken prices, and then higher meat prices when people could not get chicken so easily. Prices should gradually come down on protein as flocks are gradually restored. In my ABOUT page there is probably a link to a bird flu outbreak years ago, resulting from Hussein’s destruction of the Iraq Marshes. We can thank Fauci for the increased human death rate as he ignored the information Trump had received about Zinc as a valuable virus stopper when used with HCQ. This month I talked with a building contractor who was working in the home of a high level Pfizer executive. He and his friends were laughing about how Pfizer was due to make a huge amount of money once certain things were put in place. These Pfizer people also commented THEY planned to NOT TAKE THE VACCINE.

Gasoline took a combined hit from overproduction pushing the price of oil so low, there was no longer any place to store it, and then Covid caused a considerable decrease in auto travel. Factors like this forced producers in high cost areas like N. Dakota to stop pumping and drilling, and it is only recently that oil prices have seemed to be settling at a high enough price to encourage restarting production and drilling new leases. Driving in MD, VA, and WV in the past 2 months I filled my tank with regular at $3.05/9, $2.77/9, $3.15/9, and $2.99/9. Most regular gas prices have not been listed above $3.30. Milk at several supermarkets has been selling around these prices a gallon or lower.

Hopefully, prices will continue to lower no matter who is elected, although a strong push to isolate the Houthis from Russian influence would help.

Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, October 25, 2024

Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov claimed that Russia does not seek to “influence” elections of other countries “unlike the West” amid continued evidence to the contrary.[24] Peskov stated on October 25 that the January 2025 presidential elections in Belarus are an “internal matter” but that everyone in Russia will support Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s candidacy nevertheless. Peskov claimed that while the West interfered in the 2020 Belarusian presidential elections, the West will likely fail to do so again given that Belarus has learned from previous experience. Peskov also accused the West of unprecedented attempts to interfere in the Georgian and Moldovan elections and claimed that Moscow is not trying to influence the elections of these countries. Peskov’s accusations come amid statements from Moldovan officials, including Moldovan President Maia Sandu, about unprecedented levels of election interference from Kremlin-linked officials in the first round of Moldovan presidential elections that were held on October 20.[25] Sandu stated on October 21 that Moldovan authorities have evidence that criminal groups wanted to buy 300,000 Moldovan votes against Moldova's European Union (EU) membership referendum and Sandu herself in favor of pro-Russian presidential candidates. The Georgian parliamentary elections will be held on October 26 and Russian officials and milbloggers have launched information operations portraying Georgian Dream as the stable choice for Georgia's future and discrediting openly pro-Western opposition parties while suggesting that a Georgian Dream victory could lead to territorial reconciliation, including potential compromises on the Russian-occupied regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.[26] Russia has a rich history of attempting to influence elections in post-Soviet countries in its favor through war, economic pressures, political threats, information operations, and other modes of meddling.[27]

“Ukraine Is Striking Deeper Inside Russia—and Reshaping the War”

“Restrictions on American missiles remain, but Kyiv has leveraged its own drone attacks to inflict growing pain across Russia”

“Several times over the past three months, swarms of as many as 150 Ukrainian drones flew hundreds of miles into Russia, slamming into missile storage facilities, strategic fuel reservoirs, military airfields and defense plants.

Once considered exceptional, these deep strikes now barely register in the news. Yet, Ukrainian officials and some of their Western backers increasingly see the pain that long-range attacks inflict as a game-changer that could force President Vladimir Putin into negotiating an acceptable peace.

“Our capacity to return the war back to its home, to Russia, is what fundamentally alters the situation,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said after one such attack last month. The attack, according to open-source intelligence analysts, destroyed some 58 warehouses and a railway terminal at an artillery and rocket arsenal northwest of Moscow.”

NV early voting half done.

“A week of NV early voting done, and SOS numbers and overnight Clark mail that came in after SOS posted show GOP has extended its early voting lead to 29,000 ballots, or 5 percent-plus.”

Major knock-on effect of Israeli strikes on Iran is that Iran won’t be able to supply Russia with new ballistic missiles for many months until it rebuilds its manufacturing capabilities.

Kremlin snuff box, 10/26/24
https://t.me/s/kremlin_secrets

Is it true that Putin communicates directly with Elon Musk?

Surprisingly, we received several letters to our email with questions about contacts between Vladimir Putin and Elon Musk. It turns out that the Wall Street Journal recently published an article where the Americans told in detail their version of what was happening. At the same time, Dmitry Peskov expectedly called it “a lie.” But we know what such words from the presidential press secretary mean.

Let’s take it in order. We have previously reported several times that Putin is communicating with Musk. The President invited the businessman to Russia several times, but received refusals. Elon Musk, by order of the head of the Presidential Administration, Anton Vaino, sent the Russian leader an exclusive Tesla. That is, the conversations themselves between the Kremlin and Musk are far from new.

According to the WSJ article, these conversations do not sit well with US authorities. At the same time, the White House allegedly did not give the businessman any warnings.

By the way, not everyone in Russia is delighted with them. Rumor has it that the former head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, was strongly against it, but now he has lost his influence. Some members of the elite believe that Musk may be an American agent who is trying to learn our secrets and somehow influence the president.

Vladimir Vladimirovich is a wise man; you should not think that he talks about the country’s secrets for any reason. On the other hand, rocket science and new technologies are a very sensitive topic. You should always be extremely careful.
