Yesterday’s post was that they believed that prayer would extinguish the fire. Then urged more prayer.
They obviously do not have, after 4 days and a huge loss of life, any way to control the fires.

Ukrainians have launched a missile strike on the port of Kavkaz in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai (although there are also reports of the port of Kerch) over the Kerch Strait. Initial reports indicate the use of R-360 Neptun missiles.
Locals are being vaccinated, preparing for evacuation.
According to open data, the Su-24MR of the 2nd separate reconnaissance aviation squadron (military unit 77978) of the 4th Air Force and Air Defense Command are stationed at this airfield.

PS of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a railway ferry with fuel tanks in the port of “Kavkaz”, this was just confirmed by the operational headquarters in the Kuban.
According to some sources, it could be the Conroe Trader railway ferry.

Plague? Summertime on the Steppes often sees localized outbreaks.
Or maybe they are going to evacuate them into a city, and a lot of rural people have not received common vaccines before, so it is a public health preventative practice (we did it with the Afghans who evacuated when the Taliban took over). Probably a good idea to pump them full of antibiotics, and give them a sheep dip as well.

The Kavkaz port, located on the Chushka Spit in the Kerch Strait, is one of Russia’s largest passenger ports. Its main task is to serve the Kerch ferry crossing in Russian-occupied Crimea.

Ukraine’s military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov said in early August that Ukraine is working on a “complex solution” that could destroy the illegally constructed Kerch Bridge in the coming months.
Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine published on June 17 that destroying the Kerch Bridge now would not have the same effect now because Russia barely uses it for military purposes anymore.
The bridge accounts for less than a quarter of the total transiting cargo, and for the rest, Russia uses a ferry crossing in Kerch, Pletenchuk said.”
