Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine (2 year anniversary)

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

JoeBlogs posted a new Video on YouTube.

The gist is that although China has been trading with Russia (getting very favorable terms from Russia), Chinese investment into Russia through their Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), has largely stopped.

Russia received more BRI investment over the life of the program than any other country - over $300 Billion. Instead of 50 or more new projects a year, only a single new project was approved in 2022 and 2023 combined.

After Russia’s wholesale confiscation of foreign investors assets, not even China is willing to risk their capital there anymore - not even for BRI’s largely self serving investments to lay in infrastructure for China’s energy, mineral and transportation/logistics needs. Kiss the Power of Siberia 2 pipeline goodbye.

It is going to be a long time before any significant foreign direct investment flows into Russia, after how badly the previous investors were burned by Putin.

And then why should China invest in Russia, when Russia is getting so militarily weak that taking over the Far East will be a relief for Putin. UKR can have the western part and the muslims the central part.

That’s how Russia’s financial problems get solved.

Some one’s days are being counted down ...

Kremlin snuff box, 08/15/24
An assassination attempt was being prepared on Putin. Fortunately, the attempt failed

Information about the assassination attempt was provided to us by 4 trusted sources in the FSB. According to them, they wanted to shoot or blow up the President during one of the public events with his participation.

“The attackers were preparing an attack on a rented apartment in one of the districts of Moscow. There they collected explosives, two sniper rifles and several automatic weapons. An assassination attempt was also stopped there. Fortunately, the criminals’ plan failed,” said one of our interlocutors.

According to another, the assassination attempt was prepared by 2 people - an active member of one right-wing radical groups, and an officer of the Russian Armed Forces. The criminals were identified, thanks to an FSO employee; he was on friendly terms with one of the attackers, and through him, they tried to get closer to Vladimir Vladimirovich.

Both participants in the possible assassination attempt were eliminated during an attempt to arrest them, as they tried to resist. Investigative actions are being carried out with the FSO employee who uncovered the criminal plan.

A radical’s diary was found in the apartment rented by the criminals. There he wrote that the President allegedly failed to cope with his responsibilities, sent the Ukrainian army into the Kursk region, and allegedly, will let it continue, and as a result Russia will break up into several parts and lose territory.

At the same time, the military man who participated in the preparation of the assassination repeatedly criticized Putin for the fact that Andrei Belousov, who was appointed President, “persecuts experienced generals, creates chaos and does not allow anyone to live.” The notes of the criminals contain several names of high-ranking military personnel, some of whom are now under arrest. Investigations into this matter are ongoing.

The FSB notes: most likely, behind the attackers there was someone influential, “a person or group of people who want to destabilize the situation in Russia for the sake of their interests.”

Whether this is so is still difficult to say for sure, due to the liquidation of the criminals. But the security forces promise to find everyone involved in this terrible crime. Which, fortunately, was thwarted.

They decided not to officially report the information so as not to disturb society, which is already having a difficult time.

“But through you we want to convey a clear message to everyone who wanted to kill Vladimir Vladimirovich. We will find you. No posts, money or shoulder straps will protect you,” one of the FSB sources added in this regard.

The Kremlin refused to comment on the assassination attempt on Putin, noting that “there were signals, but they are not worth talking about.”

"The AGM-158 JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) is a low detection standoff air-launched cruise missile developed by Lockheed Martin for the United States Armed Forces.[7] It is a large, stealthy long-range weapon with a 1,000-pound (450 kg) armor piercing warhead. It completed testing and entered service with the U.S. Air Force in 2009, and has entered foreign service in Australia, Finland, and Poland as of 2014. An extended range version of the missile, the AGM-158B JASSM-ER (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile-Extended Range), entered service in 2014 as well as an anti-ship derivative, the AGM-158C LRASM (Long Range Anti-Ship Missile), in 2018. By September 2016, Lockheed Martin had delivered 2,000 total JASSMs comprising both variants to the USAF."

Ukraine will stop tran-shipment of RuZZian nat gas at the end of the year.

Next step will be the destruction of TurkStream. It must happen.

In my opinion, the US has 2 strategic goals in this war.

1). Destruction of the RuZZian military. About 1/2 way there...
2). Severing of links between RuZZia and Europe. RuZZia needs to become an Asian nation. Ukraine will be a European nation.

Russian sources say that criminal cases are being prepared for Russian generals due to failure of the Kursk region's defense.

The "cleansing" of the Russian Ministry of Defense, which started after the dismissal of Sergei Shoigu, may continue with a new series of arrests of high-ranking law enforcers who failed in the defense of the Kursk region.

It is reported that Gerasimov, head of the General Staff, has fallen into Putin's disfavor.

RuZZian loss of Tu-22M3 does seem to be confirmed.

“The Defense Ministry confirmed the incident, saying the crew ejected. According to preliminary information, the cause was a technical malfunction.”

“Facing “financial crisis,” Russia on pace for lowest launch total in 6 decades”

“A Progress cargo supply spacecraft launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan early on Thursday, local time. The mission was successful, and Russia has launched hundreds of these spacecraft before. So it wasn’t all that big of a deal, except for one small detail: This was just Russia’s ninth orbital launch of the year.

At this pace, it appears that the country’s space program is on pace for the fewest number of Russian or Soviet space launches in a year since 1961. That was when Yuri Gagarin went to space at the dawn of the human spaceflight era.”

Bay of Pigs, I tell ya!

“Ukraine’s Incursion Into Russia Reveals a Dramatic Shift”

“The offensive was developed in secret, devised to divert Russian troops away from the front lines in Ukraine and seize territory to use as a bargaining chip.”

“Ukraine’s incursion into a sliver of Russia is likely to make it harder for Moscow to mount a major renewed offensive in Ukraine’s east and is the kind of surprise operation that could eventually impose real costs on the Kremlin, according to U.S. officials.

The Ukrainian strike, and its continued success, could ultimately have strategic significance, though U.S. officials caution that they will need to see how it plays out to draw firmer conclusions. It could also help rebuild sagging morale among Ukraine’s troops and war-weary population, the officials said.

The incursion, into the Kursk region of Russia, stands in stark contrast to Ukraine’s failed counteroffensive in southern Ukraine last summer. This offensive was developed in secret, devised to divert Russian troops away from the front lines in Ukraine and seize territory to use as a bargaining chip.”

Sounds difficult.

“Ukraine offensive in Russia expands beyond Kursk region, soldiers say”

“Ukraine’s offensive into Russia has expanded to the region of Belgorod, with fierce fighting underway there as Kyiv’s forces in the neighboring region of Kursk showed signs of solidifying control Thursday.

The new details about the fighting in Belgorod, described by Ukrainian soldiers wounded there and evacuated across the border to Ukraine’s Sumy region, came as Ukraine on Thursday appointed a military commander to manage the parts of Kursk it has taken.”
