Peak China
“China took another step to obscure information about overseas funds going into and out of its sagging stock market, saying it will stop publishing daily flows data in the middle of August.”

Two days ago, UKF damaged a Tu-22M3 bomber 1755km north of Ukraine.
Significance?
This winter, every russian electrical substation withing 1800 km of Ukraine is a target.
It could be a long, cold winter in northern ruzzia.
Hope our friend Kazan wasn’t injured.
“Two dead, up to 100 injured after Russian train and truck collide”

The drone pilot scores a perfect 10.
Vodka makes those Kamaz trucks ‘jump’.
He could have been driving the car the tank ran over - but according to the blurb the driver survived ... the tank driver died of a a “broken heart.”

Emergency with Kazan-Adler train - the truck driver is suspected of sabotage
On Monday, a disaster occurred in the Volgograd region - 9 cars derailed there after a collision with a KamAZ truck. At the time of the accident, there were 812 people on the train.
Both the driver and the driver of the truck are known to have survived. A source in the intelligence services noted that planned sabotage cannot be ruled out.
There is also preliminary information that this train was supposed to be followed by a train with military equipment along the indicated section. However, sources at the railway do not comment on this information. Investigative measures are currently being carried out with the driver.
I’m not surprised
““Kyiv Post obtained an exclusive photo Monday, July 29 from sources in Ukraine’s defense and security sector showing Tuareg rebels posing with a Ukrainian flag after having just dealt a major defeat to Russian state-funded Wagner mercenaries in Mali”
A bit earlier, Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, stated that “the rebels received necessary information, which enabled a successful military operation against Russian war criminals,” adding, “We won’t discuss the details at the moment, but there will be more to come.””

Oops.
“drones, the Chinese and the “Power of Siberia”
Typical Russian hubris.
Remember when they were so cocky about shutting off the gas to Germany?
Germany was an order of magnitude more dependent on Russian gas than China was at the start of this war. Germany now imports no Russian energy - oil, coal, gas or grid electricity.
China has been very actively diversifying its energy sources, and has huge productive capacity for solar panels. The Power of Siberia pipeline provides supply to a region of China, not the whole country. They could flood that region with solar panels in a few months, and replace the heating and power generating capacity, leaving just a few industrial concerns that use gas as a feedstock, to be supplied. Like Germany, the likely near term result would be the long term loss of a major customer.
China wears its friendly Panda mask to string Putin along. Putin is very predictable - making the same mistake Stalin made trusting Hitler. There is no honor among thieves.
When Russia is as weak as it is going to get from fighting the West, China will feast on it. For now though, they string Putin along until Russia is punched out. They can count the decline in Russian stockpiles, like everyone else.
“It’s Over”
Why did Russia lose another 1,310 casualties in the past day then?
No, it is far from over. Western provided Artillery and drones are no longer scarce, and supply is expanding fairly rapidly. The trends are in place (funding on contract) for Ukraine to surpass Russian Artillery firepower next year, just as many Russian combat platforms will be reaching the end of their inventories in storage. Ukraine is already ahead in drone supply, and that is increasing more rapidly.
I wonder if these are what was used to disable the huge ferries that carry 600 or more cars that used to service the Kersh Strait before Putin built the bridge? They were being used to transport heavy war equipment to Crimea after the attack that blew out a section of the auto road, and set the oil train on the rail tracks on fire.
This apparently has so weakened the rail bridge that they have only dared run comuter type train cars over the rail bridge. Thus they had reverted to using the ferries for heavy transport. I was wondering if they would ever hit the ferries. I don’t think Ukraine wants to totally destroy the bridge, they want as many Russians to leave voluntarily as possible before they take Crimea back. Water supply for too large a population is a serious problem.
Been my position for awhile, Russian federation is going to get much smaller and what is left unless they change directions will be dependent on big brother China
If Putin can use “historical ownership” as a reason for invasion and “annexation”, well China has that in spades over Russia.
Why buy the mill when you can own the cow. And right now the cow’s pasture is increasingly being maintained by China
Hasn’t it been “over” for a while now?
