This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“The enemy is cruel and cunning”,
I guess if you are raping someone and someone comes to their defense you are “cruel and cunning “
I shouldn’t be surprised by comments like this and those coming from the “usuals”, but it does and one can’t caulk it all up to ignorance or cognitive dissonance
I would agree, there's no cheap way to do this, though the launcher isn't the really expensive part of Patriot. It would probably be possible to strip the key components from a launcher to build a more covert 1 or 2 cell launcher specifically for the purpose of ambushing aircraft that think they are outside the Patriot's envelope. I would be surprised if this idea hasn't been worked on, even if only on paper.
Very unfortunate.

Romanian village poised to become NATO’s largest airbase in Europe.
Kyiv Independent reports:
“Romania’s Mihai Kogalniceanu (MK) airbase, named after a nearby village honoring a 19th-century liberal politician, is set to become NATO’s largest base in Europe, surpassing Ramstein in Germany.
This move comes as a response to Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s justification for the war in Ukraine, citing NATO’s encroachment on Russia’s European flank. NATO’s increased presence in Romania is a direct response to the full-scale war, now in its third year.
The MK base will soon host a squadron of Romanian F-16s, recently acquired from Norway, as well as MQ-9 Reaper drones. Additionally, a military city is being developed to accommodate rotating NATO army, air force, and naval personnel from 32 countries, according to BBC.
BBC interviewed RAF pilot Flight Lieutenant Charlie Tagg who is on his third and final tour of duty at the MK base. “There’s a much bigger US presence here, a lot more infrastructure, accommodation, people, and equipment,” he noted.”
Killings of Russian regime police in Dagestan...

According to the regional department of the Interior Ministry, two militants were captured and two others wer killed. The exact number of attacks is unknown.”

Blast from the past...
The Antonovsky Bridge was damaged beyond repair by multiple M31A1 rockets with 200-pound high-explosive warhead.
Note: the ATACMs HE warhead is a 500-pound (230 kg) WDU-18/B penetrating high explosive blast fragmentation warhead.
Unfortunately, I believe the idiots in the White House have put the Kerch bridge off limits to ATACMs.
However, Crimean air defense should be destroyed enough to allow UKF Su-24s to fly close enough to the Kerch bridge to launch their Stormshadows.
The only question then is: Would ruzzia employ their Su-35s on Defensive Counter Air (DCA) missions to protect the bridge.
If ruzzia does fly DCA missions over the Kerch bridge, then a Patriot Sambush would be in order.
I am willing to bet that the Mihai Kogalniceanu (MK) airbase O-club is not as good as the Ramstein O-club circa 1973-75.
I have some fond memories there.
