President Trump has authorized long-range strikes into Russia, Special Envoy to Ukraine General Keith Kellogg says — but occasionally Ukraine has not been granted authority by the Pentagon to carry them out.

KELLOGG: “Everybody should follow what the President says. He’s the Commander in Chief, by the Constitution, and everybody falls in line. When the President doesn’t go left, you go left. If he says you go right, you right. That’s the President. The last lot checked, none of us got electoral college votes, he did. So when the president said to do something, we just need to do that and complete the action.”

HEINRICH: “Are you saying, though, that it is the President’s position that Ukraine can conduct long-range strikes into Russia, that that has been authorized by the President?”

KELLOGG: “I think reading what he has said, and reading what Vice President Vance has said as well as Secretary Rubio, the answer is yes. Use the ability to hit deep. There are no such things as sanctuaries.”

Russian drones terrorise the civilians of Kherson. The city of Kherson, with its current population of approximately 71,000 civilians, is split by the Dnipro River. Russian troops hold positions south of the river while civilians inhabit the city to the North.

Russian troops perpetrate the Human Safari by launching drones into north Kherson - indiscriminately hunting, maiming and killing civilians. The Russians’ deliberate attempt to spread fear and test the resolve of the remaining population targets the most vulnerable - many of whom are elderly and without the ability to relocate. These war crimes have been ongoing since 2023, resulting in over 3000 casualties to date, with no sign of relenting.

Markers show approximate locations within neighborhoods of Kherson Urban Hromada, not precise incident sites.

Another night (4 Oct), another Russian refinery in flames. The night prior (3 Oct), another refinery, and a large chemical plant, which also uses crude oil as a feedstock, were struck.

Send more Precision Strike weapons (and the targeting Intel)!

If there is nowhere for the oil to flow, the flow will have to stop at the wellheads, and freeze. This is the way.

Kyiv Independent (4 Oct)

“Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery in Kirishi, in Russia’s Leningrad region, overnight Oct. 4, sparking a fire that was later (the following morning) extinguished, Ukraine’s General Staff has said...

...”Air defense forces destroyed seven UAVs in the skies over Kirishi. The fire in the industrial zone has been extinguished,” (Regional Governor Alexander) Drozdenko wrote on Telegram.

Video and photos published by Astra, an independent Russian news channel, appeared to show a large explosion and flames rising from the refinery. The strike was later confirmed by the General Staff in a post on social media......

The refinery, more than 800 kilometers (500 miles) from Ukraine’s border, is one of Russia’s largest, was only opened in 2017, and accounts for 6.6% of Russia’s total oil refining volumes.

It has been targeted at least three other times — in September and March this year and in March 2024...

...Just a day earlier, Ukrainian drones targeted a chemical plant in Russia’s Perm Krai, briefly disrupting production at one of the country’s largest nitrogen fertilizer producers, which also supplies chemicals used in explosives. Separately, Ukrainian drones attacked an oil refinery in Russia’s Orenburg Oblast on the same day.”
