Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine (2 year anniversary)

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Reporting From Ukraine:
https://www.youtube.com/@RFU/videos

Due to a massive [ Russian ] bot attack reporting all channels in violation of YT policy, all of “Reporting From Ukraine” channels are being deleted. YouTube refused to listen, even though all content across all channels is the same.

The Apr 14 report was the last YT report. “Reporting From Ukraine” will be entirely on Patreon, a paid site. So ends one more source of information on the UKR war.

“He’s definitely not going to be speaker next Congress if we’re lucky enough to have the majority,” Greene added.”

If the GOP loses the House, Moscow Marge can look in the mirror for the cause. The GOP has proven it is unable to govern, thanks to her and her fellow travelers disruptive efforts.

Russia is considering the transfer of modern Su-35 fighter jets and anti-aircraft defense systems, likely S-400, to Iran to defend against strikes by Israel and the United States as military cooperation between Moscow and Tehran reached a new level.

❗️The 🇷🇺 Russian radio electronic station, which controlled the sky 700 km deep into 🇺🇦 Ukraine, was destroyed - RBC-Ukraine.

The 🇺🇦 SBU destroyed the Nebo-U complex, which helped the 🇷🇺 Russian Federation detect Ukrainian weapons and supported bombers that attack KAB border settlements.

A radio electronic station worth $100 million was hit by 7 drones in Bryansk

That has been in the works since May last year - training for Iranian pilots will take a long time, so unless Russia transfers its scarce pilots, not to worry.

Putin will just shrug it off, and ask NK or China to send in new ones.

My early prediction:

Rs take Senate. Lose House.

WH should be Rs. But if DJT is convicted and nominee, then Rs lose WH. If DJT is found not guilty and the nominee, then Ds will rush for a second trial before the election...

Keep having trials until Ds get the outcome they want.

I’ll stick with my prediction, DJT is convicted and R convention is thrown “open”. All delegates are “released” and not bound to primary vote. DeSantis, Haley and Pence all reenter race at the convention. Others join (Cruz). Wildest convention in modern times.

Back in the USSR...

“1/ Russia is considering a return to producing low-quality gasoline to make up for shortages caused by Ukrainian attacks on its oil refineries. However, this is likely to cause damage to vehicles, which owners may find difficult to repair due to a shortage of spare parts.
Image

2/ Reuters and the Russian newspaper Kommersant report that the Russian government is considering temporarily suspending fuel environmental standards to enable gasoline to be produced at a lower quality, or to include environmentally damaging octane-boosting additives.

3/ Since 2016, Russia has only allowed the production of at least Euro-5 standard gasoline (a standard set by the European Union which is also in effect in a number of non-EU, Asian and South American countries). Modern vehicles are designed to run only on compliant fuel.
Image

4/ Most of Russia’s oil refineries were built in the 1940s and 1970s and a number were modernised in the 2000s, increasing Russia’s gasoline output and quality. However, the Ukrainian campaign appears to have disrupted several of the most modern refineries.

5/ According to Reuters, the Ukrainian attacks have reduced Russian gasoline output by an estimated 14%. In response, the Russian government is reportedly exploring options to roll back fuel standards to enable outdated but intact refineries to make up the shortfall.

6/ Russia is reportedly considering increasing the amount of octane in its gasoline by adding toluene and the environmentally damaging monomethylaniline (MMA), which was banned in 2016.
Image

7/ However, as experts have noted to the Russian outlet ‘Agency. News’, this would have highly damaging effects on vehicles. Jan Heitzeer of Russia’s National Automobile Union says that low-quality gasoline will seriously reduce the service life of engines, especially diesels.

8/ “When one of the ‘experts’ say that we have few cars with Euro-6 fuel, he is deeply mistaken. We have a lot with Euro-5 and quite a few with Euro-6. Well, we probably have nowhere to go, we’ll have to drive, but we will have to prepare for not the most pleasant times.”

9/ A Skoda repair specialist says that “most likely, there will be problems with burnout of pistons, valves and other elements. The fuel will burn poorly, continue to burn in the exhaust manifold, and the temperature there will be significantly higher than it should be.

10/ “All catalysers may burn out, causing the lambda probe to read incorrect readings that will go to the engine control unit. And then it goes in a circle – errors, unstable functioning, and so on.”

11/ The Skoda specialist suggested that the situation might end up being like that in Uzbekistan, where the antiquated Soviet-era ‘Normal-80’ low-octane fuel is still widley used.
Image

12/ “They use gasoline like our old 80. On modern engines, especially in Skoda Kodiak cars, pistons burn out in almost every second car with a mileage of 40,000 kilometers or more.”

13/ Replacing damaged components is likely to be more difficult and expensive due to the effect of sanctions, particularly for Western-made vehicles. Kommersant suggests that the proposals are unlikely to be accepted due to the amount of harm they could cause. /end “

I’m expecting Ds to vote against any motion to vacate. Even without a ‘deal’ with Johnson. This wacko stuff needs to end.

“Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) announced Tuesday he will co-sponsor a resolution to oust Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) from the House’s top job.”

“The Kentucky Republican said he asked Johnson to resign from the Speakership during the closed-door conference meeting, which the Louisiana Republican declined to do.”

“The Apr 14 report was the last YouTube report (of) “Reporting From Ukraine”

Seems like we have seen similar Russian repression attempts on this thread - not convincing on the arguments, but simply trying to silence the opposing voices by badgering insults and false reports to get folks banned.

See it for what it is - hybrid war to maintain our freedom, indeed, freedom everywhere.

Key part is for Johnson not to cut any deal with Ds. Lets Ds vote against the motion based on sanity.

“Both Greene and Massie have declined to say when they might trigger a vote on the motion-to-vacate resolution, but the support from the pair of conservatives means Johnson will more than likely need Democratic support to remain Speaker.

Republicans can only afford to lose two GOP lawmakers on any party-line votes, as the House breakdown currently stands, an edge that will decrease to one after Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.) resigns at the end of the week.

Some Democrats in recent weeks have said they would protect Johnson if he puts Ukraine aid on the floor.”

Tru Dummy could be gone next year.

Tru Dummy formed a government in 2021 while losing the popular vote. 5.55M votes to Conservatives 5.75M votes.

“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberals are trailing in the polls by double digits behind Pierre Poilievre’s Conservative Party, putting Trudeau on track to a sweeping defeat in the next federal election, which must take place by the end of next year.”

There was a Brit on cable last night that said: if DJT is convicted, he will win in a landslide, as people see through the Dems planned election interference.

The GOP convention might be the wildest (most entertaining) yet, but the Dem convention could be the most violent in history, further showing who they really are, turning independents against them.

The Dem convention could - could - see the introduction of pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian jihadis using suicide vests.

But to agree, there is no way DJT will not be convicted and sentenced in the porn star trial. While the appeal winds its way through the system, look for DJT to be Epstein-ed, before the case is thrown out/dismissed.

These Moscow Mules in their eagerness to prove some obscure point, are paving the road to defeat in 2024 with gold bricks, as the public continues to see them as children unable to govern.

I don’t know if any one else has noticed, but these same trolls are on every thread of any interest, not just war threads, doing the same thing - shutting down any reasoned or rational discussion with apparent impunity.

Kyiv Independent reports:

“The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) voted unanimously on April 16 in support of a resolution calling for frozen Russian assets to be transferred to a new fund for Ukraine’s reconstruction.”

This is not law, but shows that consensus has been reached. Most of Russia’s frozen assets are in Europe.

Kyiv Independent reports (from Bloomberg):

“Nearly 40% of sales at Russia’s largest aluminum producer, Rusal, are at risk due to sanctions imposed by the U.S. and U.K., Bloomberg reported on April 16.

The U.S. and the U.K. banned the supply of new Russian-made metals to global exchanges, including the London Metal Exchange (LME), but these sanctions do not prohibit the sale of metal from producers to traders or consumers.

The company estimates that sanctions could affect 1.5 million metric tons of annual sales, compared to its production of 3.8 million metric tons last year and 4.2 million the previous year, an anonymous source told Bloomberg.

Rusal may now be forced to reduce production...

...Rusal fears that one of its largest customers, Glencore Plc, could use the sanctions to negotiate lower prices for the metals...

...Prior to the full-scale invasion, Russia constituted 10% of aluminum imports to the U.S.”
