This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

General Teplinsky and his comrades will address Putin
General Mikhail Teplinsky may soon deliver a letter to Vladimir Putin. The letter has already been signed not only by Teplinsky, but also by a number of generals and officers close to him.

Any army that has 100s of thousands of forced conscripts & does not care about troop loss can sustain any attack. But without air cover, it will mean even heavier losses than Avdiivka.
I guess that was my point, even a large army will have trouble with 1000+ losses a day, would be nice for Ukranians to get that “found” 500000 arty rounds

ISW assessed that Russia could sustain a grinding level of meat wave like attacks in that area over months with their current crypto mobilization, but that they were unlikely to make significant mechanized breakthroughs. Progress in grinding forward could depend on the degree of Western support.
Those 4 directions of attack are actually four units pushing forward in mutually supporting attacks along a 70 mile front (toward the Oskil River in the North, including Kupyansk), that are all under the same Operational Command. It seems to indicate some lessons learned by Russian Forces.

Can NATO troops in Ukraine finish the SVO? The military answered honestly when we are ready to directly confront the West
The words of French President Macron that Western troops could be sent to Ukraine worried the military. Our interlocutors at the General Staff hope that politicians “will not do anything irreparable.”
“We will be ready for war with NATO, but not now. Now we are ready for limited special operations , but preparations for a big war with the West will take several years. And this is provided that we will soon finish the SVO. But you understand, they will tell us to fight, we will,” a source in the General Staff close to Valery Gerasimov told us.
Another fears that if Western troops appear in Ukraine, “we will lose to the Northern Military District. And we can even lose Crimea.”
“I’m a military man, so I won’t lie, I’ll say everything honestly. NATO troops in Ukraine under current conditions may end up in the Northern Military District. And not in our favor. I hope there will never be them in Ukraine,” our interlocutor said.
He also believes that it is now urgently necessary to strengthen air defense systems in order to protect Moscow and other political and military decision-making centers from missile attacks.
At the same time, a source in the Ministry of Defense does not share pessimism and believes that “if the West makes such statements, we ourselves can attack first.”
“Now there are no such plans, but there was once no talk of a military defense system,” our interlocutor warned the NATO countries.
This position frightens many in the General Staff. “Shoigu hopes that in the event of a big war with the West, Vladimir Vladimirovich will save him. Where should we run if anything happens? I can’t stand irresponsible statements,” says a general from Gerasimov’s entourage.
He believes that Western troops in Ukraine will definitely lead “to an unpleasant end to the Northern Military District for us.” And he hopes that politicians “will agree on something so that we can at least retain our current gains.”
Let’s be honest: we expected to hear more optimistic answers from the military. But we convey everything that we were told. It is important to know the truth.
But it is Russia's most advanced Strike Fighter, so "state-of-the-art" for Russia. And they have lost about 20% of them to Ukraine. After 2 years, Ukraine is now degrading Russia's fixed wing combat aviation capabilities, having degraded their rotary wing capabilities earlier. I suspect it's mostly a case of more sorties = more losses, and the recent increase in Russian offensive operations requires that they use these jets. We will likely see more losses as they continue offensive operations. Readiness of the remaining fleet will surely suffer with fewer aircraft trying to conduct more strikes. You can only do more with less for a short time...

In the Krynok area in the Kherson region, a large group of military personnel was ambushed by Ukrainians. 18 soldiers were killed, more than 20 were wounded and captured.
According to our sources at the General Staff and the headquarters of the Dnepr group of troops, the cause of the tragedy was the negligence of the officer.
“These soldiers were recently transferred to the Kherson region. Their commander decided to play a hero. He had heard enough of Shoigu’s stories that Krynki was already ours, that they had supposedly been cleared of the enemy. And he launched a thoughtless attack,” said one of the interlocutors.
According to another, the officer was informed that a group of enemy military personnel had been detected in Krynki. He, truly not knowing that there were enough Armed Forces of Ukraine left in the village, decided that these were saboteurs who could be easily driven out of here.
And he sent a group of fighters, giving them the task of eliminating the enemy military. As a result, the guys were ambushed and attacked by drones and artillery. The commander himself took part in the attack. He tried to escape from the ambush, but was killed.
There may be more victims, we cannot take their bodies yet. But the figure of 18 dead, unfortunately, has been accurately confirmed.
After this tragedy, we want to appeal to our entire command, including the Minister of Defense. Lies about events at the front kill. We believe that conclusions will be drawn from this emergency, including by Sergei Shoigu.
