He told me that it was the best money he ever spent. He got back kids immersed in a culture of respect and decency instead of the "coolness" of gangster culture. BTW, he was a very nice guy to work with.
Ghana is one of the more stable and better-governed nations in black Africa. I had a professor from there who told me about life in Ghana. They speak English and highly value education. They don’t have any disciplinary problems in their schools; it’s a major investment by a family to get their kids a good education and almost all of them appreciate it. Those who don’t will soon learn that the headmaster of an African school has wide latitude to use the cane on troublemakers, and then there will be another thrashing when the kid gets home.
They very much dislike and deplore black American ghetto culture, so if these “Blaxit” folks think their new neighbors will welcome loud rap music and boys whose trousers sag below their buttocks, they will have a hard time of it.
