Yep, but those transactions cannot be tied to any personal information if done correctly (anonymous). Do not reuse BTC addresses and do not store any BTC on an exchange like "Coinbase" that use "KYC" where it can be "touched" by the government...practice/use "self-custody" with a hardware wallet at home or in another safe place.
