Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIaRS) has changed its name to Global Refuge (aka Global Refuse).

A number of clergy and other leaders in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod have been and some still are involved with this organization. None of the LCMS leaders have repented and apologized to the LCMS congregations for their past or current involvement with this unChristian organization.
