Seems like I remember some BLM spray painting a remote monument near the Alamo. They came back the next day wanting to cause trouble, they were greeted by a “citizen’s group” who arrived prepared for assuring they don’t think about doing that again. Soon after that the DPS and other elements settled in part of the time.
