Yesterday, his government announced that offences under new online laws have kicked in so “criminals can face up to five years behind bars for their demeaning and dangerous actions.”
Part of this new law outlines a new “fake news” offence – a false communications offence – that outlaws the intentional sending of false information that could cause “non-trivial psychological” or physical harm to users online.

Every snowflake in the world claims that.
“Disinformation-—fake news”——the government determines what you’re allowed to say under the guise of “your safety”.
Who’s believing this crap?
The UK has a Deep State, too.
Ours is making us pay for Trump.
Theirs is making the UK pay for trying to Brexit.
But the UK doesn’t have Trump.
God help the UK.
Now why would they carve out an exemption for the BBC?
As somebody that was born and raised there, I can only shake my head.
What a subjective way to word it. Of course, by design. It’s just an excuse for “we’ll interpret it one way for certain people and another for others”. Nothing but State controlled messaging.

Looks like the UK is not bothering to catch up to Russia and instead is going straight to SOVIET UNION type policies.

No one, but it doesn’t matter. The people IN POWER will now be able to simply jail anyone, FOR YEARS, who disagrees with them. No more ‘complicated and expensive’ Jan 6th type ruses needed, just surf the web and round up the ‘hooligans’ (as the Soviets used to call them).

And think of all the corruption and crime that can go on because of this.
