The day before, information appeared about a fire in Izhevsk. Colleagues wrote that the room in which the drones were produced was on fire. Sources in the Ministry of Defense and in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Udmurtia confirmed this data to us.

“The drone production workshop was on fire. Finished and almost finished products and equipment were lost. I can’t tell you more, since the object is secret,” said one of the interlocutors.

At the same time, several military officials claim that the cause of the fire was an attack by enemy drones.

“These were two “special” drones. Invisible to air defense, very quiet, very accurate and, obviously, long-range. We still needed to fly to Izhevsk. There is, of course, a version about arson, it is promoted by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. But, according to my information, these were drones,” said a source at the Ministry of Defense.

According to another, a new danger has appeared, since it seems that the enemy has not yet used “such modern UAVs” against us.

Let us note that in November Ukraine already launched an “invisible drone” attack on Tambov. But those UAVs (if we evaluate preliminary data) were worse in a number of characteristics, the military says.

The search for solutions on how to defend against the enemy’s new weapons has already begun.

By the way, sources in the Ministry of Emergency Situations insist that there was no drone strike. The fire, according to them, was the result of arson.
