I do not expect Russia to admit the loss of "Cezar Kunikov".

They never acknowledged the sinking of "Ivanovets" just 13 days ago.

After "Novocherkassk", which they did confirm was struck, this is the third Ropucha-class landing ship destroyed in less than 2 months.

The Black Sea Fleet lost another large landing ship

Unfortunately, the information was confirmed. Last night, sea drones attacked the large landing ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, Tsezar Kunikov. As a result of the attack, the ship was holed and sank off the southern coast of Crimea.

The main problem is that at the time of the attack the drones were not detected - neither on the approach to the landing craft, nor in the immediate vicinity. The night attack confirms that the Ukrainians are systematically knocking out ships of the Black Sea Fleet and improving their naval drones.

At this point, sources did not say what exactly was on board, but hinted that it could be about transporting equipment. Rumor has it that the Caesar Kunikov could transport tanks, but there is no reliable confirmation at this time. Navy sources refuse to comment on what is happening.

By 12:00, seven sailors were considered missing.
