Russian soldiers are talking among themselves and are self-evaluating the quality of their medical care and chances at the front of being evacuated, an indication of morale and conditions. They are probably also hearing of severely wounded and disabled veterans getting treated as scum by civilians, and denied benefits by the government.

Imagine the rate of wounded who die, but would have survived if even basic care and evacuation happened is what happens to the majority of their wounded.
The muskovite mentality is something to behold

If this is more than a rarity then it does indicate a bleakness among the Russians, a lack of trust and faith in their leaders and unit.
