This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

[ Ukrainian Special Ops Invade & Burn to Ashes a Russian Base ]
==
Day 714: Feb 07
Today, there are a lot of updates from the Avdiivka direction.
But first of all, there are a lot of updates from Crimea. Today, Ukrainian Special Operations Forces units conducted a successful operation on the Russian oil rigs.
Ukrainian special operators reported that Russian forces deployed a ”Neva-B” object detection radar system on the rig, which allowed Russian forces to better surveil the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
Russians also used the object to stage attacks with Iranian-provided Mohajer-6 reconnaissance drones and guide Shahed drone strikes.
Moreover, the mining platform was also used as a radar station to monitor surface vessels in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Ukrainians seized the valuable equipment, mined the oil rig, and successfully detonated explosives from a safe distance.
Today, Russian sources also leaked a video filmed by the Russian air defense operators during the recent Ukrainian missile strike on Crimea. The video shows how Storm Shadow and SCALP missiles, one by one, fly right in front of the Russian air defense systems, causing a huge wave of criticism of the effectiveness of Russian air defense.
Some Russian analysts claimed that the missiles were flying at a too close range to be shot down, while others presumed that Ukrainian drone strikes indeed destroyed a Russian radar station, rendering these missile launchers useless.
Simultaneously, a huge fire broke out near the Votkinsk plant near Moscow. The Votkinsk plant is known for producing ammunition for the Topol-M strategic missile complex, and since 2006, it has been involved in the serial production of Iskander-M missiles, which are used to strike Ukraine, especially the Kharhiv region.
When it comes to the front lines, as expected, Russian forces did not slow down after a huge group of Russian soldiers that reached Sapronova Street at night got encircled and taken captive by the Ukrainians.
Instead, the Russian command was emboldened by the fact that the so-called Death Valley between Avdiivka and Ivushka was crossed and decided to double down.
The situation is extremely tough. Ukrainian soldiers report that Russians conduct major assaults every twenty minutes.
Moreover, Russian aviation is extremely active, and over the last eight hours, Russian dropped thirty-seven FAB-500 air-dropped bombs. On top of that, Russians started to actively engage heavy thermobaric artillery systems.
As you can see, all this fire is concentrated right in the center of Avdiivka, where Russians are planning to advance. Such fire basically wipes everything out.
Nonetheless, Ukrainian fighters reported that they stand their ground. Some say that withdrawing to the positions behind is useless anyway, as, under such pressure, new positions become exactly the same in a matter of minutes.
It seems like the fighting is so intense that neither party has the time to release geolocated combat footage. In fact, Ukrainian soldiers reported that they engaged all drone operators to counter this massive wave of attacks.
Ukrainian drone operators are working with little to no sleep to rebuff Russian attacks and also help the infantry by communicating what they see from the sky.
A Ukrainian brigade spokesperson also stated that Russian forces started equipping some of their armored vehicles with electronic warfare systems to protect against Ukrainian drones. Even though such practices are still very rare due to the shortages of electronic warfare systems, this poses a significant threat.
It would not be a big problem if Ukrainians had ample supplies of shells, however, as Ukrainian forces are increasingly rationing shells and trying to target masses of advancing Russian forces.
According to prominent Russian sources, Russians only managed to fully capture the first block of Independence Street. Prominent Ukrainian sources claim that the fights recently reached the bridge. The claims of the progress of other sources vary between these two benchmarks.
However, all sources agree that the main direction of the Russian advancement is south-east. Russian sources claim that Ukrainians are frequently counterattacking, not allowing Russians to establish their positions, and achieved success on Kotsiubynskogo Street, which Ukrainian sources still mark under Russian control.
Avdiivka Military Administration Head Vitaly Barabash stated that the situation in the area is expected to continue being very difficult because Russian forces are trying to capture the town for political and informational reasons before the Russian presidential elections in March.
Such a politically driven decision results in extremely high losses. According to the Ukrainian General Staff, today, total Russian losses exceeded 1,000 troops, and more than half of those losses come from Avdiivka.
Such a high pace of the operation cannot be maintained for a long time, as the Russian assault units lose their combat capability. That is why each wave of attacks is followed by several weeks of regrouping. Hopefully, Ukrainian fighters will manage to withstand the peak heat.

Was Navalny raped in prison after the conflict with the Chechens?
Alexei Navalny had a serious conflict with other prisoners in prison. A source in the Federal Penitentiary Service, on the basis of strict anonymity, told us about the true reasons for the politician’s transfer to a single cell-type room.
“He quarreled with local Chechens. For a long time they openly pestered him and provoked him in any contact. The last time he lost his temper, called them “dirty black-assed people” and said that Kadyrov replaced Allah for them and became God himself,” says our interlocutor.
It is worth clarifying that with these words (if they were actually uttered) Navalny could greatly offend the religious feelings of Chechen Muslims. Let us say right away that we cannot fully verify or refute the information about the emergency.
At the same time, another interlocutor said that after that incident, Navalny was allegedly beaten and raped.
“Rumor spread around the zone that he had been ‘let down’. Hard. It’s not just that we kept him constantly in the isolation ward; we didn’t want him to intersect with other prisoners,” says a source in the leadership of the Federal Penitentiary Service, familiar with the situation in the colony where Navalny is being held.
Rumors about the rape of a “political” also spread in criminal circles. The fact is that they don’t approve of this there. According to unconfirmed information, the culprit of the story has already been found and plans to punish it. But there is a nuance - Chechens associated with Kadyrov have a high status in the prison hierarchy.
The most important thing in this story is that it was because of it that Kadyrov was summoned to the Kremlin and allowed to meet with Putin. Vladimir Vladimirovich is aware of the situation and personally addressed Ramzan Akhmatovich with a request (read order) to extinguish the conflict in the colony.
No one in the Kremlin now needs the death of such a prominent prisoner, all our interlocutors agree. At the same time, it is obvious that the conditions of Navalny’s detention do not have the best effect on his emotional state. He is in long-term depression.
It is also important to mention that Navalny’s team knows about the rape of their leader, but have decided not to make it public for now. After all, the status of “lowered” is unlikely to help survival in prison. Now the FBK team is more busy arguing with other prominent oppositionists about how to properly confront Vladimir Putin in the 2024 elections.

The deputy director of the Federal Penitentiary Service was fired because of Navalny’s rape?
The President signed a decree on the resignation of the Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service, Lieutenant General Alexei Girichev. Few people paid attention to this, but it was Girichev who was personally responsible to the Kremlin for Navalny’s presence in IK-6 Melekhovo in the Vladimir region.
It was he who essentially allowed Navalny to be raped in a prison cell. After this incident, Navalny had to be treated and then completely hidden in the Arctic Circle. But Girichev was dismissed.
At the same time, a rumor was unofficially launched that the general was allegedly involved in torture in another colony - IK-5 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Vladimir Region.
If this is really the case, then a high-ranking official should expect not a well-deserved pension, but prison bunks. However, in reality, he fulfilled his obligations and saved Navalny’s life, first protecting him from the aggressive Chechens, and then sending him to hell.
Overall, it is important not to lose sight of this story. According to rumors, General Girichev may be sent to the Northern Military District zone, and it is obvious that we are not talking about infantry - he will command the troops.

Putin’s visit to Erdogan has been postponed for three reasons. Among them are the threat of arrest and blackmail in Crimea
Four sources - in the Foreign Ministry and the Kremlin - explained to us why Vladimir Putin’s visit to Turkey, which was planned for February 12, was postponed. It turns out there are several reasons.
Firstly, Vladimir Vladimirovich fears arrest on Turkish territory. Official Ankara has not ratified the Rome Statute and is not obliged to arrest our president in accordance with a court order in The Hague. “But we got some bad signals that there might be problems. Now we are checking the threats,” a diplomatic interlocutor told us.
A Kremlin source believes Putin is “overly playing it safe,” but admits there may be a point.
Secondly, Erdogan has intensified his blackmail on Crimea: he is actively calling for the peninsula to be transferred under Turkish control and sending signals that “the bombing there will only intensify.” Dating in such a situation is not a good idea.
Thirdly, signals have been received that Turkey is preparing a serious package of military assistance to Ukraine. There are no details at the moment, but until the information is verified, it will be difficult for Putin and Erdogan to communicate.

Will Shoigu’s resignation take place in the spring? Those surrounded by General Teplinsky gave a forecast
General Mikhail Teplinsky and the military personnel close to him will not react in any way to Sergei Shoigu’s accusations that Mikhail Yuryevich allegedly wants to organize a coup and “send tanks to Moscow.” One of the reasons is that the Minister of Defense may be dismissed in the spring.
“It’s no secret that Vladimir Vladimirovich expects the capture of Avdiivka in early March. It is also clear that the current assaults on the city, often directly commanded by Shoigu and Gerasimov, will lead nowhere.
“The maximum is that we will take part of the city at a high price. I think that after this, both Shoigu and Gerasimov may well lose their posts,” an officer close to Teplinsky told us.
In response to our remark that Mikhail Yuryevich cannot liquidate the Ukrainian bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region, he replied:
“This is a completely different situation. General Teplinsky takes care of people. We have 20 casualties per day, maximum 40 people. There were days near Avdeevka when 300 or more boys died. And we will knock out the enemy from the left bank. Everything has its time”.
He believes that it would be nice if, after success in the Kherson region, Teplinsky was entrusted with commanding the assault on Avdeevka. “Then the city would be ours. And fewer boys would have died,” the officer added.
Got text message from some guy named Jared Lovelace.
He is running against McCaul in the R primary for the 10th district. He says McCaul “puts Ukraine’s border above our own”.
I can’t wait to go vote against Jared the Clown. March 5th.
I sure hope McCaul votes for a discharge petition in the House.
One lesson from all this: minimize donation to politicians. After they get your phone number, it is shared widely.
Donated to Trump and Rs in 2016, 2018 and 2020. I would get so many text messages, I had to block those numbers. But there is always another number they use...
“Will Shoigu’s resignation take place in the spring?”
After the “election” in March, we are through the looking glass, as far as policy changes in Moscow are concerned.
A lot will probably change on the economic front, but I think Putin will want loyal people around him, more than competent ones.

WOW Speedy, you've posted that at least 10 times in 2 days.
Yes, Kazan is a muslim, he's stated that many times and he posts articulately, not like a flaming moron.
It's hard to believe you're an adult.
Beavis and Butthead are green with envy.
BTW, I noticed your new tagline...(Kazan is a Muslim. What mosque does he attend?) Very cerebral /s
And why did “you just want to say this?”
Cyber specialists of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have carried out another successful operation against Russian occupiers. Аs of February 8, 2024, the enemy is complaining of a massive failure of the drone control program.
Russians install this software to reflash DJI drones for military purposes.
Among other things, the software allows Russian drone operators to:
● configure control panels and create new ones;
● capture video and transmit the image to the command post;
● control the drone from a computer (not through the control panel).
"Via web servers, the specified Russian drone re-flashing project ensures the functioning of the "own-alien" system. According to preliminary data, as a result of a cyberattack by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the servers stopped working, so all software is recognized as "alien" and denies access to the Rashists," the DIU reported.
