When I broached this last month on FR, every FR answer was the same:
“Michelle can’t stand any affront to her privacy”.
I believe this was the only way “out” for the DNC, and the DNC’s choice of a Chicago convention tells me this was LONG IN PLANNING...!

What a contrast between them, on the one hand, and, on the other, the magnificent souls who built the USA and forged it into the greatest, most just nation history has ever known and the American boys (most of them under the age of 21) who walked directly into machine-gun fire on the beaches of Normandy in 1944.
In merely 80 years, America descended from a nation of heroes to a nation of useful idiots.
No wonder we are in danger.
