Is VA the airline that had to abort a takeoff when a passenger noticed bolts missing from a wing?
I took an AA puddle jumper flight from Denver to Durango a few years back. I was seated with a view over the wing. During the flight I looked out and saw what appeared to be oil flowing from the engine in copious amounts. Alarmed, I waived over the flight attendant and pointed it out.
"Is that supposed to be doing that?"
"No, but it is such a short flight. We just fill it up before we take off and we make it just fine."
