A group of House Republicans, led by Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry, introduced legislation Thursday to defund the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the bill, which is titled the Defund Davos Act. The legislation would specifically block the State Department, USAID, and any other federal agency from providing funding to the (WEF). The U.S. has spent millions on the WEF over the years, something Perry and other GOP lawmakers say needs to end.

They know it’s going no where. Let’s see them do this when Trump is President.
Better slip the UN in there too!
They will cut social security or age it out before they cut funding to these welfare addicts.
Why are we funding those nazis to begin with? Disgusting pigs in congress.
Defund the WEF? I like that VERY much. Too bad the legislation will go nowhere.
All talk and no cattle, or something like that.
Half the GOP will find a way to shut him down every time. It’s amazing he got anything done the last time. 🤬
These ass-hats need to focus on doing a job instead of feel good PR B.S. that will go nowhere.
Good. Just do it!
Add the WHO to defund.
Scott Perry is my congressman, I’m proud to say.
At least they are teeing it up now.
OK Democrats show us that you are really interested in protecting America and it’s people.
It’s still a good idea. The WEF is extremely unpopular with the voters and Democrats blocking the legislation would alienate swing voters.
It won’t matter to Democrats’ base because most of them have never heard of the WEF.
Given that we are running increasing deficits year after year, we have to start with the basis that unless there is an essential need for funding to an organization, be it WEF, WHO, or planned parenthood, it should be eliminated, period.
Sounds like those people have their own money. Why are they getting ours?
So SICK of this Kabuki theater. It’s going nowhere.
I agree with defunding all NGOs 100%. If it's a non governmental organization doing not inherently governmental work the government has absolutely no right to levy our money or authority to use our tax money to support it.
I don't think its legal or wise. Take away their tax exempt status while were at it.
It will be Republican members who kill it.
