Our general could have died in Syria. But not the one about whom they spread gossip.
We checked with sources in the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff information about the death of our military in Damascus as a result of an Israeli strike. We tell you what we managed to find out.
Firstly, our information about the death of six Russian military advisers in Damascus is confirmed. One of the dead was possibly a general, and two colonels also died. The names of the victims are not being disclosed now; the public will most likely recognize them “in a month or two.” Let us note that no one could confirm the information about the general's death for sure, but many people talk about it.
Secondly, the associates of General Ivan Popov responded to rumors about his death in Syria with the words: “Shoigu, Gerasimov and their gossips will not wait.” They did not give any other comments.
Thirdly, no one yet understands how so many of our military advisers ended up in one place. Most likely, they had a meeting with their Iranian colleagues.
Sounds like maybe Israel got 2 birds with one stone (IRGC guys & Russians)
