I had a long conversation with a fellow lawyer many years ago. He was extremely talented and knew his way around a courtroom (we represented co-defendants on a civil liability case and I would have compared him to the best lawyers in our district).
But as we sat around waiting for calendar calls, he mentioned to me that even though he was working for a prestigious law firm, everyone assumed that he was simply an "affirmative action" hire because he was black. He didn't get put on the most important cases and clients didn't respect him.
He eventually left that firm and went to work for a traditionally black firm where his talents were appreciated.
Stupid situation for any intelligent and diligent person to be put in.

Maybe they finally figured out that affirmative action admissions reduces the value of the degrees.
Or maybe, just maybe, the mainstream Black/Brown/Asian cultures realizes that racism kicks both ways, anti-racism is also racism, and thus not an improvement.

I don’t know what is so damn hard about making a monumental sweeping ruling that declares all forms of affirmative action unconstitutional.

Joy Reid is gonna get mad! Common Sense takes another toll, ending another myth of the racist Marxist plutocracy, as black citizens become infected with it, sanity and common sense... that is!
