Years and years ago, I saw a video of an AARP representative. A woman who was about 40 years old talking to a bunch of seniors in rest home setting it looked like. She was telling them about how to get, do, vote for something - I don’t remember specifically.

What I DO remember is her condescending and ordering attitude and basically demanding those seniors do what she/AARP wanted. When some of the more cogent residents there objected she flew off the handle and said “Do it or else.”

That’s when I decided SCREW AARP.
