This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Where is the ruzzian Black Sea fleet?

Shahed 136/131 is watching over it.
Finally seeing some military supply flights from NATO to Ukraine via Poland again over the past week.
With the majority of those tanks being old T-72s, near antique T-62s and ancient T-55s. But as Donald Rumsfeld said, 'You go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time.' At some point between 2025 and 2030, Poland will have more modern main battle tanks than Russia.
Unfortunately for Ukraine, their tank situation is even worse. Despite so many armchair generals claiming "tank warfare is dead", no country seems willing to shift away from them and donate theirs in meaningful numbers. Those willing to donate have done so.
Putin in 2008

ROTH: Bernard Kouchner, the Foreign Minister of France, which now presides over the EU, recently expressed concern that a new conflict may break out in Ukraine, notably the Crimea and Sevastopol, a Russian naval base. Are the Crimea and Sevastopol the next target for Russia?
PUTIN: You said, “the next target”. We did not have a target in this conflict, so I think it is simply inappropriate to speak about some “next target”. This is my first point.
ROTH: So you rule this out?
PUTIN: If you let me finish, you will be satisfied with my answer.
The Crimea is not a disputed territory. Unlike the case of Georgia and South Ossetia, there has been no ethnic conflict there.
Russia has long recognized the borders of today’s Ukraine. By and large, we have completed our talks on the border. Now we have to deal with the demarcation, but this is a technical issue.
I think that asking a question about Russia’s targets of this kind reeks of provocation.
There are complicated processes going on in society in the Crimea. There are problems of the Crimean Tatars, the Ukrainian population, the Russian population, the Slavic population in general, but this is Ukraine’s domestic political problem.
We have an agreement with Ukraine on stationing our fleet there until 2017, and we will be guided by it.
Russia has called for an Emergency Meeting of the U.N. Security Council today to discuss the “Ukrainian Attack” launched against the City of Belgorod which they claim was caused by Britain and the United States’s support for Ukraine; they further requested that the Representative from Czechia attend the Meeting due to their claim that Czech Rockets were used in the Attack
Czech Foreign Minister:
We refuse to be summoned anywhere by Russia. Czechia will not serve the lie-poisoned propaganda of the aggressor. When Russia wants to discuss the withdrawal of its occupying troops at the Security Council, we will be happy to come.
I never get tired of Sanna Marin’s face...

“Ukrainian Missile Attack on a Russian City Kills at Least 14”
“The bombardment of Belgorod on Saturday, apparently in response to an enormous air assault by Moscow a day earlier, appeared to be the deadliest on Russian soil since the beginning of the war.”
“The Russian authorities said on Saturday that a Ukrainian attack on the city of Belgorod, near the border with Ukraine, had killed at least 14 people and injured more than 100 others, in what appeared to be the deadliest single attack on Russian soil since the beginning of the war.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said in a statement that Ukraine had hit Belgorod with two missiles and several rockets filled with cluster munitions, adding that the strike was “indiscriminate” and would “not go unpunished.”
The ministry said that most of the rockets had been shot down, but that parts of the debris had fallen on the city. The Ukrainian authorities did not immediately comment on the attack, and Russian claims could not be immediately verified.”
“As War Rages in Ukraine, Denmark Turns an Office Park Back Into an Arsenal”
“The conflict and surging arms production in Russia have spurred demand for ammunition manufacturing across Europe.”
“The old Krudten ammunition plant, near the northernmost tip of Denmark, is a quiet shell of a factory that has sat empty for years despite its legacy of churning out bullets, artillery and explosives for the Danish military.
But that is about to change: With the war in Ukraine fueling growing demand for Western weapons, the Danish government has decided to revive its role in the ammunition business.
In 2008, amid defense cutbacks that swept across Europe and cratering global economies, Denmark sold off Krudten, its military’s main munitions plant. It was passed around among private firms until October, when the government decided to buy it back, becoming one of the latest countries to increase its focus on weapons manufacturing and counter Russia’s rapidly expanding arms industry.”
Some of the same people cheering Russia's indiscriminate attacks on civilian targets across Ukraine yesterday are not cheering now. They are no better than the civilians in Gaza who cheered Hamas as they murdered Israeli civilians.
OilPrice.com reports:
“China has eclipsed Russia as the main trade partner of all five Central Asian states, according to official statistics. Kazakhstan is the most recent Central Asian country to see Beijing pass Moscow in terms of annual trade turnover.”
China’s trade with the Stans has increased 20-30% per year since Putin drove the Russian economy over a cliff in 2022 with his ill-fated invasion.
Central Asia has been dumped into China’s lap. Increasingly, so are the remnants of the Russian economy.
Backfire! Now let’s get 2024’s military assistance to Ukraine funded.
ISW reports (29 Dec):
“Western leaders largely viewed the massive Russian (cruise missile) strike as evidence that Putin’s maximalist goals in Ukraine remain unchanged, in line with ISW’s long-standing assessment that Putin is not genuinely interested in a ceasefire or any sort of negotiated settlement in Ukraine.”
France stepping up to lead the coalition in support Ukrainian Artillery - the King of Battle. (UK and Norway leading the Naval Coalition)
Planning to test new Artificial Intelligence capability on the outstanding French-provided Caesar self propelled 155mm howitzer systems.
Kyiv Independent reports:
“A new “artillery coalition” to strengthen the Ukrainian army will begin its operations in Paris in January 2024, Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havryliuk announced on Dec. 24 during the meeting with the delegation from the Senate of the French Parliament.
He said it’s crucial for Ukraine to “enhance its firepower by receiving artillery systems from its allies,” according to the Defense Ministry’s statement citing Havryliuk.
“In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are interested in further procurement of self-propelled artillery units, such as Caesar,” reads the statement.
The Defense Ministry also reported that in 2024, “tests are scheduled for the fire control system of the Caesar self-propelled artillery unit using artificial intelligence.”
Havryliuk said the AI implementation “will result in a 30% reduction in the use of ammunition for zeroing in and targeting,” the ministry reports.”

The moment of arrival in Belgorod - you can see how an enemy missile flies into civilian infrastructure
Footage appeared of the moment the missile arrived in the very center of Belgorod - as a result of the attack, at least five people were killed and 40 more were injured. Now the air raid alert has already been canceled.

What happened in Belgorod?
Hot on our heels, we tried to find out more about the situation in Belgorod, the center of which came under fire.
Firstly, military sources directly indicate that the hit in the city center was the work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
At the same time, versions of what is happening differ - some talk about the arrival of missiles from MLRS, some talk about super-fast drones, and some again revolve around the vaunted F-16s - they say the strike was carried out from the air. There is no answer yet which version is correct.
However, all interlocutors agree on one thing - our air defense turned out to be practically powerless under enemy attack. In total, about 20% of the airborne objects released were shot down. The drones were mostly destroyed in the Belgorod region.
One of the sources hinted that the air defense performed “remarkably terribly . ” “It feels like they missed it on purpose (the blow - Ed.),” our interlocutor in the authorities said cautiously. He did not specify what exactly he meant, hinting at the political context of the strike.
It also became known that the strike damaged one of the offices in the city center, where employees from units of the information and psychological troops worked.
Why it was necessary to locate them in Belgorod is an open question. So far there is no data on casualties among them, and it is unlikely that this will be officially announced. By the time the post was published, five people were killed and dozens wounded.
Terrible.

FSB special forces arrived with searches at the headquarters of the air defense forces in Belgorod
According to our information, an officer or a group of people is suspected of possibly deliberately ignoring the threat of a missile attack in Belgorod. Literally an hour and a half after the shelling, an FSB special group arrived at the headquarters of the air defense command.
The military themselves talk about a witch hunt and claim that the enemy’s vile strike was too large-scale. Whether it was possible to find a Ukrainian “mole” at the headquarters - sources do not say.
Unfortunately, civilians were killed as a result of the strike. Representatives of local authorities say off the record that the city needs more air defense.
Alas, before the New Year, one of the S-300 divisions was moved to the Kaluga region to protect the capital and the Moscow region from possible drone strikes.
Governor Gladkov tried to call the Minister of Defense, but Shoigu ignored the call.

During the shelling of Belgorod, most of the shelters were closed. The city will conduct an inspection
Civilian casualties in Belgorod could have been avoided. Or at least there could be fewer of them. According to our information, after the heaviest shelling of the city since the beginning of the war, an inspection of the shelters was ordered.
According to preliminary information, most of them were locked or even sealed at the time of the missile threat.
Moreover, colleagues from 7x7 write that local residents received messages from the Ministry of Emergency Situations after the shelling began. It turns out that by the end of the second year of the Northern Military District, the border city was completely unprepared for real challenges.
The air defense did not shoot down the flying missiles (or they were deliberately missed), and the local authorities were unable to ensure the safety of citizens. Who will now be responsible for the innocent victims?
We would advise the authorities not only of Belgorod, but also of neighboring Kursk and Bryansk to at least check the shelters for their availability and accessibility.
However, in moments of such real danger they may simply not be enough. Or one of the responsible people will simply close the door, out of harm’s way.
Even earlier, we advised Muscovites to at least find out where the nearest shelter or bomb shelter is located , but the situation there is even worse - the city is too densely populated. Alas, not all local residents will be able to quickly get to the shelters if necessary.
