On Tuesday night, the Colorado Supreme Court of Democrat-appointed justices ruled the state will not allow President Donald Trump ‘s name on the state’s ballots for the 2024 election. They claim this is due to his incitement of the Jan. 6, 2021, US Capitol riot – something he’s never been charged for or convicted of.
Trump has not been charged with engaging in insurrection or rebellion against the United States.
This undemocratic move is unprecedented in the history of the United States except for one other time.
Back in 1860 the Democrats removed Abraham Lincoln’s name from the ballots in their slave states. Republican Abe Lincoln went on to win the election anyway.
After the news broke Republicans Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis both refused to condemn this tyrannical act by the Democrat Party.
Instead, former Governor Nikki Haley attacked President Trump telling Iowa Public Radio the country will not “survive” another Trump term.
And, Governor Ron DeSantis told his supporters the Colorado removal of Trump from ballot was “part of a scheme to secure his nomination.”
.....snip.....
Both DeSantis and Haley refused to join Vivek Ramaswamy and withdraw from the Colorado primary until President Trump’s name was reinstated.
One Democrat who showed his true character was Robert Kennedy, Jr.
Robert condemned the tyrannical actions by the Colorado Supreme Court.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr @RobertKennedyJr
Trump blocked from the ballot in Colorado. When a court in another country disqualifies an opposition candidate from running, we say, “That’s not a real democracy.” Now it’s happening here.

RFK Jr. is a “traditional liberal” - quite different from the far-left communists who have taken over the D party.
His dad and uncle John would be closer to Trump than to Biden if they were still alive. His uncle Ted would still be closer to Satan.
I can take a side on a single issue with a man who, like the broken clock, is right twice a day.
That is likely twice more than any living Democrat.
RFK Jr. is no conservative. In things besides THIS and mandated vaccines, he is a barking moonbat who has said, among other things, that people who don’t buy in to the Environmental/Climate Change BS should be put to death.
I applaud him for speaking out. But I would applaud anyone now for speaking out, as they all assiduously avoid doing so, with a few exceptions such as Rand Paul and...Trump.
Humm I guess Jim Hoft does read much before he sends out his often missing the facts articles from GP

The Left invokes “democracy” to justify its use of power, even if it means abusing judicial power to remove a candidate from the ballot based on spurious legal grounds. SCOTUS should reverse.
This is what you get when you hand over your campaign to so called RNC "Republican Strategists". You lose the heart and soul of the conservative movement and you embody the fake conservatism and fraud that has been perpetrated against the republican base for so many years.
Ron, you should have told the republican strategists, the Paul Ryans and Jeb Bushes to go take a hike. You should have gone with you gut instincts. You coulda' been a contenda' Ron!
He shows no leadership because he doesn’t lick Trumps boots? Typical MAGA thought pattern
You don’t need to lick Trump’s boots to stand up for what is right. Don’t be a dumba$$
But did he also say that it was a scheme of Trump’s? And which thing did he say first? Was he holding his finger to the wind before he spoke?
I had high hopes for DeSantis, but for 2028; not so much, anymore. He has shown himself to be not ready for prime time. Makes a great governor, though.
I JUST finished watching Charlie Kirk interview RFK. Totally unimpressive. CK would ask an important question. Kennedy answered, “I don’t have the answer to that”, or “I would need to get more information”, or some other pathetic response. Hemming and hawing.
On the abortion issue, is was about the poor black people, and nothing (that I recall hearing) about the morality.
CK would say something like, “With all due respect, you’re running for President. These are basic questions.” Sad.
Good for him! I think I would vote for him before any of the RINO hopefuls.
“DeSantis continues to show NO LEADERSHIP in this campaign. Starting with the Mar-a-Lago raid, and everything else that came after, he could have stood up for what is right.”
He has.
And when he changes his mind in 9 months?
This is all about splitting the vote.
The RATS have at least 5 plans for 2024 and splitting the vote is one of them.
Seriously ? RFK Jr is so far right on Israel for one it makes me wonder if the Mossad has anything on him (although even they and the vast majority of Israelis are not nearly as pro Netanyahu). Hell I may not even vote for him. But I am looking forward to the debates. ;0
There are actually a lot of things to like about RFK Jr.
Be glad to see him siphon more Biden (obama) voters away than Trump’s.
Lol. Yeah. Wearing high heels does not translate to actual leadership. Being a front man for RINO establishment does not translate to leadership.
JFK had one of the worst civil rights records of any US president and he was a serial sexual predator.
They didn’t shoot enough Kennedys.
Leadership is turning a purple state red. Make America Florida
Meh. Florida was already red. DeSantis did not make it red.
I admit, I’m less inclined to pillory somebody who says “I don’t know the answer to that“ then I am to denigrate someone who professes to be an expert on everything.
I despise wonks who think they can grasp all aspects of some issue or another, and base policy on that. Clinton and Obama are just two examples.
I am far more inclined to respect someone who sees nothing wrong with delegating expertise to others, who actually have it.
But as you rightly imply, a person involved in driving or creating policy needs to have at least some familiarity with certain issues.
I don’t necessarily view support for Israel, as being a fundamentally conservative value. That is, I would be puzzled in talking to a liberal American Jew who supported Hamas over Israel.
I don’t understand that.
But if I talk to someone about economic policy, the right to keep and bear arms, the sanctity of private property ownership, and other such things, they have to be up to snuff on those.
RFK Jr. isn’t even close on any of those things.
