Even in the election furor, I believe a supposed Office Holder accusing an opponent of a crime for which he was not charged is Slander.This does not follow. For example, Biden is obviously guilty of taking bribes--and yet has not been charged. Its hardly slander or libel to point this out whether one is in office or not.
