All words are made up words. Has political correctness taught you nothing?
Most vocabulary police are @%#& wokesters. Thanks to the language police regarding the word, retarded and stupid. We’ve had to come up with dozens of new words to replace them such as: short bus, special, thick, airhead, blockhead, brain dead, dimwit, doofus, meathead, mongo, etc.
I agree in the “woke” ruining language.
Like “black” or negro” are perfectly good descriptions of, well, black people. But African-American? Who belongs in that club? Jesse Jackson but not Elon Musk?
Or the word “cripple”, it’s changed to “handicapped” to “handi-capabled” to now “differently challenge”. But it still means crippled in some way(I got arthritis so I can say that, snickers, snicker!
Same with retarded, as you mentioned. Which is a perfectly apt description of someone whose mental development has been... retarded from normal advancement.
I believe it’s an control tool by the left “to herd”and “cull” people from the populace for not having the right “mindthink” and force their views upon an unwilling nation.
