I agree with Ron DeSantis on this one. What do Donald Trump and Nikki Haley have to lose by agreeing to a debate?!
Enough debates. They make every candidate look bad. Including DeSantis. He is rarely mentioned after one of those silly debates.

What does Trump lose? Time that could be spent doing something constructive. But the more important question is, what does he have to gain? Nothing. He already has the nomination in the bag. Why would he want to do anything to draw out the process any longer than it has to be? What’s the benefit? Bolster DeSantis’s false hopes so he stays in the race a month longer before dropping out? No. The sooner Trump wraps things up, the sooner he can focus on other things.
