Immigration is polling as an electoral disaster for the Dems.
This is a face saving way in the eyes of their radical base, to throttle back the flow a bit before the election (The Republicans made us do it, but don’t worry, we will outfox them later).
Both sides need some throttling back on immigration, and both sides support aiding Ukraine. It is just a matter of the details.
Will the RuZZian Boys on FR who want to ‘secure the Southern border’ be happy after a deal is reached?
Guessing not. Maybe because they really don’t care about the Southern border.
