The revolution turning on itself, with top Xi loyalists being purged, including the Foreign and Defense Ministers.
Maybe the Western network of Humint sources were compromised (like after Obama took office), maybe the Western IC spoofed Xi into a paranoid purge, or maybe insiders see how bad things are going, and harsh measures are needed to suppress doubts and whispers about Xi. Maybe Xi is cooking up a war plan, that many could not get on board with.
Regardless of why, top Xi loyalists have been dropping like flies.
