Will these stories penetrate, I am not sure. Frankly I am surprised any of their contracts were honored and that they were not kept at the front or straight up shot

Doesn’t take a genius to see that a criminal, exposed to war as well would go back and do bad things. Not exactly a situation for reformation

At first, many of Putin’s supporters here tried to compare this to a judge telling a young male who had done some rambunctious male activity but seemed to be a good male whose testosterone needed to be channeled, that rather than face legal judgment he should enlist so that he can be led and mentored through that growth period.

These men that Putin sent to the war zone filled with civilians and criminal opportunities were hardened criminals rotting in violent prisons, with 10s of thousands of them returning home the homeland hasn’t seen anything yet, wait until the smarter ex-cons put their military training and coordinating and organizing to work.
