You misunderstood. Or perhaps I didn’t explain well enough.
By “small scale” I was referring to the size of the individual Hamas units. These weren’t whole regiments on the move, as you might see in traditional warfare. Instead the Hamas units were more like many bands of bandits.
I wasn’t referring to the size of the attack itself.
And in particular, my point was that when these attacks come to America, you will not be able to repel them as you would a regiment of Redcoats. Other strategies will be needed.

I hate to say it but Hamas and Hezbollahs military capabilities rival many countries armies.
Hamas has proven to be a very formidable enemy.
but theres been no shortage of Islamic terror attacks in the US since 9/11
just to name a few:
San Bernardino shooting
Pulse club shooting (Mr. LGBT meets Mr. Islam)
Boston marathon
DC beltway shooters in 2002
and probably many others....
