Don't listen to what China says, watch what they do.

Europe is back in the coal business, thanks to the US taking out their gas pipeline from Russia, and India is also big-time into coal. The US is about the only major country that has killed off its coal industry, but then we’re a Fascist State so our Congress doesn’t even get to vote on it.

“Don’t listen to what China says, watch what they do.”

Trust me, the ones at the very top agree with you and understand that there is NO WAY that they are going to stop China from consuming massive amounts of coal, at least not with its present government.

Yet they MUST be stopped, or the planet will cease to exist (at least in their Greta-warped minds).

So, what to do? Look for the jugular. As the article states, Russia and Australia are the big suppliers of coal to China. Australia is easy to deal with, one phone call. But doing so will drive up the world price and make Russia a FORTUNE on their coal exports. So that has to wait.

Ok, what about Russia - easy, cause a regime change by forcing Russia into a war (or standing by while millions of Russian speakers are genocide’d, plus NATO takes over their main naval base - again, that would force a regime change). Then, IF a war over Ukraine were to begin, COLLAPSE the Russian economy with 11 rounds of ‘sanctions’.

Too bad, Russia saw it coming and is now doing better than the countries imposing the ‘sanctions’, and far better than Europe, since one of the ‘sanctions’ was the US cutting off the supply of cheap natural gas to Europe.

So, no dice, short of a nuclear war, China will continue use as much coal as it wants, and Russia will be happy to fill-in should Australia decide to shoot itself in the foot and cut off China from coal.

I've visited China four times....the first visit being in 1981,the most recent was in 2018. On all four visits I spent time in Guangzhou (formerly known as Canton) which is a major city an hour or two north of Hong Kong.

During rush hour on my first visit you say many dull,drab,Soviet-style buildings...a few buses...many military trucks and 750,000 bicycles.

In 2018 you saw many glass and steel skyscrapers and bumper-to-bumper traffic of Toyotas and Buicks (yes,Buicks). Also, the air was so thick and dirty that it was far worse than any fog I experienced in London or San Francisco.

It's well established that Red China is responsible for half of the world's air pollution while only representing about one-seventh of the population.

AC-130 obliterates truck AFTER it launches missile against US troops. China adds more coal than we can cut back in our foolish folly of zero emissions, Arizona AG will not permit hand count and threatens to sue county. The list goes on and on and on from just this morning’s news. I find myself hardly caring at all anymore. What is the point? We are destroyed already.

China consumes as much cement every two years as the U.S. did over the entire 20th century

Cement from lime produces enormous amounts of CO2. What to do? I know! Let's have the U.S. go back to the Middle Ages in penance.
