In my humble opinion, none of this is difficult to understand. How can a two-state solution be rational when one party has sworn to annihilate the other? When people realize that what is going on is Biblical, maybe then they will get to the ‘why’ it’s happening. Until then most commentators play word games, not wanting to acknowledge the evils of Allah’s Quranic mandates to the Muslim faithful.

There is no way to have good-faith negotiations (or a two-state solution) with someone who lives only to destroy you. I highly recommend "The Israeli Solution" by Caroline Glick for its in-depth history on this (especially the failed Clinton attempt), as well as for its proposal.
