Congress Releases First Batch Of 40,000 Hours Of Jan. 6 Footage To Public

More than 40,000 hours of Jan. 6 Capitol Police security video will be made public on a dedicated website starting immediately and ramping up in the coming months, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) announced on Nov. 17.

However, individual video clips released to media or other requesters will have the faces of identifiable individuals blurred, a senior congressional aide told The Epoch Times. That restriction drew immediate fire from some Jan. 6 criminal case defendants.

“So while we are significantly expanding the amount of clips that will be available and who can request them, we will be blurring faces with respect to individuals who are identifiable,”

This defeats the whole purpose of releasing the vids.

The purpose is

to identify the complicit

and guilty

and who they worked for.

The Supreme Court only gets involved if someone files lawsuits based on these events

It is rare for the Supreme Court to take a case directly. Someone somewhere will have to file suit in lower federal courts over these issues, and then see the issue work its way to the Supreme Court.

That’s where the Supreme Court is.

This situation amounts to a national emergency. The Supreme Court can--and should--rule at all deliberate speed.
