A Day of Reckoning for America’s Universities

On October 7, 2023 the words “never again” rang hollow for the first time since the Holocaust when 6 million Jews perished at the hands of the Nazis. Employing a level of barbarism that should cause even the most fervent anti-Semite to recoil in disgust, Hamas terrorists systematically tortured and murdered over 1200 Jews. Many of those who watched the video footage of these events will never fully recover and those who do now have unimaginable horrors permanently etched in their memories. Hamas redefined what is meant by “man’s inhumanity to man.”

This attack was a massive intelligence failure on the part of the Israelis, but it was also an unforgivable moral failure on the part of some of this country’s most prestigious universities, including Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania. Not only is there an absence of moral outrage for what occurred, but there is inexplicable pro-Hamas support voiced by many students and faculty

And it is LONG overdue.

Institutions need rebuilding. Media, seminaries, higher and lower education, science, music, and so on, almost all need rebuilding.

Many have been praying that evil will be exposed in our land!
We are witnessing this!

They may need to be destroyed first and replaced by a new, objective system. In fact, perhaps they aren't needed at all anymore given that people can direct their own learning from online courses and take certification exams to demonstrate what they know.

I take courses at Khan Academy every week just to stay sharp (better than the NYTimes crossword puzzle, which I did for many years).

These Universities have been openly hating on my people for years so this is no epiphany moment for me.

Love affair is over. We need to stop patronizing the toxic members of society. All of them. All we end up doing is giving them the power to destroy the society.

The backlash against Marxism is growing. Even homeschooling is now the fastest-growing form of education in the U.S. People are fed up with being indoctrinated.

Maybe we should all just burn our Ivy League degrees

Legislature must cut budgets of state university systems.

That will change behavior if done on a consistent basis.

But now it’s exposed !…….when roaches or spiders come out in the open, you can more easily deal with them!

Pete Hegseth, Fox News, gave his Harvard degree back to them.
And he’s made sure folks know it.
He’s not proud of that degree!

One of my heroines, Corrie tenBoom, (and her family) , sheltered and hid them in her home during World War 2
She and her sister and elderly father and her brother were arrested
Her father died in the jail……she and her sister were sent to Ravensbruck, and her sister died……Corrie survived, but her brother and nephew didn’t….her brother died shortly after release as he caught tuberculosis of the spine

Of the books I’ve read on the Holocaust it disturbs me greatly to see similar things happening in America

Those of us who grew up in the 1950s and early 1960s remember the news programs about WWII, the capture Adolf Eichmann(1960) and the bulldozing of thousands of dead fly covered bodies into mass graves should be able to take it. As a kid it was our first shock of the REAL WORLD out there.

For some reason the news media, beginning in the late 1960s began to block such views from TV as “anti-violence” programs began after the murder of Presidential hopeful Bobby Kennedy by a Palestinian Immigrant. The world has never been the same since.
