Pax Americana?
Where is this peace?
The United States has been involved almost constantly in foreign conflicts since WW II.
We have had a standing army since WW II.
Would the world be worse off if we had stayed home and not involve our selves in these foreign conflicts, maybe.
But how many of these conflicts would not have happened if we had not been there, more than a few I suspect.
