You are correct. The difference between the German people is that they were actually ashamed of what the Nazis did to the Jews and other victims of the Holocaust.

On the other hand, the majority of the Palestinian people support Hamas and actually voted for them to run Gaza. In addition they celebrated the actions of Oct 7th. Dancing in the streets and passing out candy.
