I agree 100% Israel must act, and act very soon. Each hour of delay is likely to weaken or interfere with their resolve to act with blunt force. One side of the argument has gotten used to there being no lasting consequence for their actions, no matter how barbaric.

the japs held American captives in Hiroshima and Nagasaki for the same reason and we didn’t and couldn’t let it stop us for doing what had to be done to end the war.

The need to obliterate acknowledges the reality that you need to worry about hostages that will be taken in the future if you don’t.
