Back in the early 2000’s doing field service computer work i was hearing the word “Absolutely” in different offices at least 300 times a day.
Drove me NUTS..

I HATE verbal tics. They are spouted by stupid, dull people who cannot organize their few thoughts into a coherent sentence, by people prone to prattle on and on without having anything useful to contribute. I’m sure you’ve known many as I have in business.
It reminds me of nothing as much as airhead K Harris, our esteemed Veep.
