This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes a

“In Makhachkala, Russia, a mob of Dagestanis is chasing through the airport building, trying to find Jewish people or Israeli citizens.

The lynching atmosphere in some Russian regions have reached levels similar to the Reichskristallnacht in Nazi-Germany.”

What will the pro-Russian Freepers say about this? How can the Russian Nazis de-nazify Ukraine? It doesn’t make sense. Shouldn’t Putin send his troops to de-nazify Dagestan?

It certainly does stand the whole nazi bs on its head.

For some it will make no difference whatsoever.

Artillery Losses

October 2023 - 77

This is the best stat up there.

This seems to be an artillery and mine war.

I don’t believe the tanks anymore. That is, they don’t seem to be uke troop killers — like artillery. rus tanks are not great on defense and seem to just get blown on offense. Whereas rus artillery —while not so accurate—is deadly enough to cause uke losses sufficient to keep the ukes from massing anywhere.

kill enough rus artillery and maybe there will develop holes in the rus lines.

maybe not.

still the best hope for success for the ukes is to come in behind rus lines from the dneiper. Seems lots more things need to come into place for that to happen in force.

Russia has been carefully cultivating the nazi bs for at least a decade. Those who have swallowed Putin’s load of propaganda will never change their views. Putin is the savior of the world, his word is like scripture.

Both Ukrainian and Russian nationalists have used nazi symbols going back many decades. Our own military has used nazi symbols, like the Totenkopf, iron cross and SS “lightning bolts”. On active duty I saw plenty of guys with nazi associated tattoos with the above symbols, as well as “88”, black suns and various associated runes. More so early in my career, but some later. Somehow, I never thought these outliers made the US armed forces “nazis”.

Reading what some freepers write about our troops, it sometimes feel more like DU around here than FR.

It isn’t just the troops, a few of the more rabid Putin supporters are anti-veteran, which is tied up with their anti-America/anti-American military/anti-conservative views.

Remember the raccoon stolen from the zoo in Kherson by Russian forces?

It has been stolen again!

ISW reports:

“A Russian VDV-affiliated milblogger announced on October 28 that he was forced to shut down his Telegram channel, implying that unspecified actors abducted the raccoon that the milblogger had been using as a mascot to help gain notoriety and fundraise for Russian forces. The milblogger claimed that the channel generated over 20 million rubles ($212,000) for Russian forces within a year.

The raccoon gained fame when Russian forces stole it from a zoo when withdrawing from west (right) bank Kherson Oblast in November 2022.

The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) has increasingly targeted Russian milbloggers in censorship and self-censorship campaigns, and it is possible that MoD-affiliated actors aimed to censor this milblogger.

The milblogger claimed that “traitors” abducted the raccoon and left occupied Ukraine and suggested that the milblogger may have personally known who took the animal, however.

Ukrainian Kherson Oblast Military Administration Advisor Serhiy Khlan stated that the raccoon had previously attacked Kherson Oblast occupation head Vladimir Saldo and criticized the Russians for losing the raccoon.

ISW is unable independently to confirm reports of the raccoon’s whereabouts or actions.”

Last Friday (27 October 2023), Russia was expected to raise interest rates another full percentage point.

But instead they raised two. Now the rate is 15%, up from 7.5% on July 21st.

Rates doubled in three months, from a base that was already high among the G20. Now only two other members have higher interest rates (Argentina and Turkey), and those countries are recognized as in economic crisis.

The Bank of Russia said the hike was because of inflation exceeding their expectations (6%, vs. a target of 4%), but their reported inflation rates are not really much higher than most countries (between that of the UK and Australia).

So either they are lying about their inflation rate (likely), or they are really raising rates in an effort to support the value of the ruble (likely), or likely both.

Russia’s radical capital controls, imposed on 11 October, have succeeded in temporarily preventing the ruble from nosediving (now around 94 to the dollar), but they obviously see a pressing need for further radical actions.

Russia’s economic policies now clearly put it in the company of the world’s economic basket cases. Doubling over about the last three months is the fastest rate of interest rate increases of any nation in the world.

Putin continues to accelerate, as he drives Russia over a cliff.

Brace for impact, anytime after Putin’s “re-election” in March.
