I wrote this on another thread but it applies here -
The Bible is the only explanation for “Israel”.
It accurately predicted, over 2000 years ago, the rebirth of a nation against all odds. It also predicted that its neighbors would be full of hate and that Israel would be a thorn that consumed them.
If you know anything about history and geopolitics the year 1948 should never have happened. It remains one of the most unlikely events in human history, but it happened just as it was foretold.
Israel remains the biggest thorn in the Middle East just as it says and no man, president, diplomat, or prime minister will change the design of God.
Israel’s enemies will come against her and God will smite them before his son returns just as it says.
It’s all right there in the Word and while none of us know the date or time it will happen, the final stage is being set before our eyes.
Read Ezekiel 38 and 39 and ask yourself what is the one thing that might unite the divisions of Islam and civil wars that burn throughout the region....
The unifying factor is the thorn.
