All of her comments are trumped by nuclear weapons Israel has. I think any attempt to annihilate Israel will result in nukes.
This is why I think Iran already has a bomb or 2. And is desperately struggling to make more, enough to plausibly deter the West from trying to clobber them to prevent more from being made (and used).
I wonder at what trigger point Israel would begin to use her nukes in defense of a multi front attack that threatened its existence? Would it truly be after other means exhausted or on some strategy to preserve the last 40% or so of conventional forces and win? I mean rather than to take the attackers with them in an all lose local Armageddon.
The worst fear would be getting all the muslim world coming against Israel at once.
They are threading a needle to keep this mainly on Hamas in order to not have that happen. I am sure they are planning a response of large proportion and a ground game after bombing strategic areas.
